Practitioners at Community Acupuncture Clinic are National Board Certified and licensed to practice acupuncture, herbal medicine and massage in the State of Florida. Currently the clinic is staffed by two acupuncture physicians and two massage therapists. Fernando Bernall is a licensed and Board Certified Acupuncture physician. He started his first practice in 1988 in Chicago after graduating from DuPage Shiatsu Institute, in Downers Grove, ILL. In 1989 he became a Chinese herbal medicine apprentice under his mentor and Tai Chi teacher Dr. Wu, Shi Cun, and three years later he joined the Florida Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine from where he graduated with honors after completing a four year program in Chinese Medicine.
Mr. Bernall is a Diplomate in Acupuncture and in 1998 completed postgraduate studies in acupuncture for the treatment of substance abuse at Lincoln Medical Center in the South Bronx, NY, and developed in that same year a holistic detox protocol at Net Counseling Services in Wilmington, DE, an outpatient clinic for substance abuse patients.

Dori Bozung is a nationally board certified Acupuncture Physician licensed in the states of Florida and Virginia. She received her Bachelor in Professional Health Sciences, and Master of Science in Oriental Medicine from the East West College of Natural Medicine in Sarasota Florida. She graduated Magna Cum Laude, and is a Diplomate in Acupuncture of the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
Dori has studied Chinese and Japanese acupuncture, macrobiotics, Asian bodywork, martial arts, as well as Chinese and Western herbal medicine and food therapy. She completed a two year clinician level course in Classical Homeopathy, and is a certified practitioner of Bioset, an allergy and autoimmune treatment protocol. She is also certified in Re-evaluation Co-Counseling, Community Mediation, and Ecological Horticulture from the University of California, and has extensive experience in the cultivation of Chinese and Western herbs.
Dori’s goal in treatment is to promote and facilitate the healing of her clients in a compassionate and supportive environment.
